Ingrid Etoke joined the Gates Foundation in September 2021 as a Senior Program Officer in the Health Products, Programs & Markets team. She had lead work on new product introduction and market access for the malaria Vector Control, drugs and vaccine pipeline.
Prior to this role, Ingrid held various commercial leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry across Europe, Africa and South East Asia. She began her career as a Product Manager at Aventis (now Sanofi) and later served as General Manager for GlaxoSmithKline in French West Africa. Ingrid brings deep expertise in malaria, having launched key treatments such as Nivaquine®️ (chloroquine) and the pediatric formulation of Coartem®️ (artemether/lumefantrine) for Novartis in the private sector across French West Africa. Most recently, she was Senior Market Access Manager at IVCC, where she developed access strategies for new product introductions.
She holds master’s degrees in Biochemistry and International Marketing from Université Scientifique et Technologique de Lille (France). In 2019, she was featured in Forbes Africa as a rising leader.
Dr.Thomas Nganje Kinge Ewumbue Monono is a Cameroonian Financial Engineer born on May
21st 1968 in Great Soppo Buea. He holds a degree in Law from the University of Yaounde, Cameroon, a post graduate diploma in Budgeting, public financial management and Treasury administration from the prestigious National School of Administration and Magistracy ( ENAM). He also holds a Master of Science ( MSc Fin) in finance from Zicklin School of Business of the Baruch College CUNY New York, a Master of Science in Information Systems Management( MSc Management) from Simon Business school, University of Rochester, NY. He completed a Doctor of Business Administration in 2021 at the International School of Management( ISM), Paris.
Dr. Nganje Kinge Monono is currently Cameroon’s Administrator at the Board of Administration of the Development Bank of Central African States( BDEAC). He is also a National Auditor at the Ministry of Finance. Before these assignments he served as Finance Counselor/ Paymaster at the Cameroon Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
Dr. Venetta Mwengella, is a double board-certified primary and psychiatric mental healthcare provider, healthcare innovator, and global health advocate committed to transforming the delivery of integrated care across the United States and Africa. With over 14 years of critical care experience and over 8 years of advanced practice.
Dr. Mwengella brings a rare depth of clinical expertise that bridges high-acuity medicine, functional medicine, primary care, and psychiatric mental health.
Born in Cameroon and having spent most of her clinical career in the United States, Dr. Mwengella brings a global perspective to healthcare leadership.
